The first half of this year will see the release of a new Huawei P70 series of mobile phones. Blogger @智慧皮卡丘 reports that these phones will feature 1.5K curved screens and satellite communication functions. The standard and Pro versions, however, will differ in chip frequencies, with no confirmed news on the specific chip model yet.
According to blogger @数码闲聊站, the Huawei P70 series may come equipped with Kirin 9xxx chips and two deep micro-quadruple screens – a 6.58-inch and a 6.8-inch 2.5D 1.5K LTPO. People claim that the bezel control on these phones is excellent. Moreover, rumors suggest that the P70 series will feature a rear matrix triangle Deco design, earpieces, stereo dual speakers, and OV50H with a physically variable large aperture solution. The battery will use high-density cells starting with 5.
Last year, Huawei equipped the Mate60 series with the Kirin 9000S processor, featuring an 8-core 12-thread design, with one core at 2.62GHz, three cores at 2.15GHz, and four cores at 1.53GHz. The GPU used the self-developed Maleoon 910.
The specific release time for the Huawei P70 series is not confirmed yet. However, considering Huawei’s consistent release strategy, we can expect it to bring more surprises in the first half of this year.
