Blogger @智慧皮卡丘 leaked today that Xiaomi Civi4 is expected to be released around May, featuring a curved screen design. The new phone competes with Honor’s digital series, with improved imaging and performance. Additionally, it will continue with co-branded gift boxes.
Another blogger, @数码闲聊站, leaked that the Xiaomi Civi4 iteration will have a 1.5K curved screen with a friendly curvature and screen size. It along with a triple camera setup in the upper left corner of the back. Moreover, the phone adopts a “metal middle frame.” Considering the leak timing and positioning, it is expected that this new phone is also the Civi4.
For reference, the previous Xiaomi Civi3 had a 6.55-inch 2400×1080 OLED dual-curved screen, supporting a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, global brightness of 1200nit, peak brightness of 1500nit, 12-bit color depth, and 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.
The Xiaomi Civi3 featured the MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra chip + LPDDR5 RAM + UFS 3.1 flash storage, enhancing Xiaomi’s imaging capabilities. The official statement claimed a 35% increase in portrait speed, a 57% increase in night scene speed, a 153% increase in HDR speed, and a maximum continuous shooting speed increase of 235%. It had a built-in 4500mAh lithium cobalt oxide battery and supported 67W fast charging.
