A new phone, the Redmi A3, will be released soon. It has a simple configuration but a stylish design.
Look at the picture, it has a strong presence. The back has a big and eye-catching camera, creating a flagship phone look, similar to the upcoming Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Redmi A3 is 164.9mm long, 76.75mm wide, and 9.09mm thick. It weighs 192 grams. It can take two SIM cards and works with 4G.
The Redmi A3 features a 6.71-inch “water drop” screen with a wide bottom border. The screen resolution is 1600 x 720, supporting a 90Hz refresh rate. Other screen specs are unknown.
We’re not sure about the core, but it’s likely from MediaTek. The phone comes with 4GB of memory and supports 4GB of virtual content expansion. The storage starts at 64GB.
Other features include a 5000mAh battery, but charging details are not mentioned. It supports dual SIM cards but not 5G. There’s dual-band wireless and Bluetooth 5.0, keeps the 3.5mm headphone jack, and runs a customized system based on Android 13.
The price hasn’t been announced, but it’s the successor to A2 and is expected to be around 700 yuan (about $98).
