Xiaomi has launched a monitor with model number A24i in the global market today, which is basically the global version of the Redmi 1A monitor. It has a 23.8-inch IPS LCD screen analyzing Full HD 1080p. It achieves a refresh rate of up to 100Hz, delivering vivid and natural colors. The monitor supports 16.7 million colors, covering 99% of its sRGB color gamut.
In design, this monitor is sleek and modern, featuring a slim 7.5 mm body. The screen design includes narrow borders on three sides, achieving a 90% screen-to-body ratio. The base offers an adjustable angle, and the monitor supports VESA mounts for flexible wall mounting, though a separate stand purchase is necessary.
The monitor prioritizes color accuracy, rated ΔE<2, with a contrast ratio of 1,000:1 and a 6ms response time. This makes it suitable for tasks demanding color reproduction accuracy and even gaming, thanks to its relatively low response and 100Hz refresh rate. However, the small diagonal and 1080p resolution left a strong impression. For connectivity, the A24i features DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI, and DC IN ports, providing flexibility for various setups and user needs.
