Today, the widely recognized blogger @熊猫很禿然 shared a photo of a lens module on the social platform. It is speculated that this component likely comes from the upcoming Xiaomi 14 Ultra.
In the publicly available image, the lens design of the new Xiaomi phone maintains the round shape of the previous generation and displays the Leica Summilux logo. Regarding lens specifications, the main camera features a variable aperture function ranging from f/1.63 to f/4.0, while the periscope lens has a fixed aperture of f/2.5. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra rumors suggested that the device will feature a full-focus four-camera system, each camera boasting 50MP pixels and utilizing Sony’s LYT900 sensor technology.
Xiaomi had previously introduced a variable aperture main camera design in its 13 Ultra product, supporting only two aperture adjustments at that time: f/1.9 and f/4.0. The camera configuration of the 13 Ultra included a 50MP Sony IMX989 one-inch main camera and three 50MP IMX858 cameras, responsible for Leica professional telephoto, ultra-telephoto, and ultra-wide-angle (122°) shooting.
Looking ahead to the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, we can anticipate several configuration highlights. The manufacturer expects to equip the device with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Additionally, for photography, it will feature a four-shot full-focus lens and an upgraded aperture adjustment range. The device will likely have a 5180mAh battery capacity, supporting 90W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging technology. Moreover, there is a possibility of incorporating more advanced single-point ultrasonic fingerprint recognition technology and a four-deep curved screen design. In terms of color options, users can expect choices such as blue glass, orange silicon skin, and black silicon skin, providing a more personalized experience.
