Meizu Technology has recently acquired the telecommunications equipment network access license from Tenna. This development paves the way for the release of two new 5G phones, namely M481Q and M481S. Industry experts typically view these two models as distinct versions of the Meizu 21 Pro, scheduled for unveiling after the holiday.

According to the well-known blogger @数码闲聊站, the Meizu21 Pro will not support satellite communications but will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8G3 5G chip. Additionally, the device may feature a high-quality screen with 2K+ resolution and incorporate large-area ultrasonic fingerprint technology, a rarity in the current market.
Furthermore, another blogger has suggested that one variant of the Meizu21 Pro may adopt a naming method similar to “Unbounded Edition,” adding an element of mystery to this new machine. The same source has disclosed that the Meizu21 Pro has an excellent overall configuration. Apart from the 2K direct screen, it will support wireless charging, feature a telephoto lens, and undergo a camera module upgrade. The new device might also introduce innovations in materials, utilizing “new glass” materials.
The Meizu 21 Pro has completed the three-certification process, including radio transmitting equipment model approval, telecommunications equipment network access license, and China’s national compulsory product certification. With these milestones, the official release of the Meizu 21 Pro is one step closer. The radio approval information also reveals that the device will support UWB ultra-wideband technology, signaling a breakthrough in connection performance.
Concerning the price of the Meizu 21 Pro, Meizu Technology Assistant Vice President Wan Zhiqiang hinted last month that the new phone’s price might hover around the 6,000 yuan range. He emphasized that the Meizu 21 series will act as the brand’s absolute flagship on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 platform, dedicated to providing users with an excellent experience. It is expected to become one of the market’s most attractive flagship phones.
