According to information on JD.com’s international page, Apple is preparing to introduce a new head-mounted display product named Apple Vision Pro. Pre-orders for the product will commence at 21:00 on January 29, with customers able to make purchases at 23:00 on February 2.
As of now, the price for Vision Pro on JD.com is currently at 49,999 yuan. Going by the pricing in the US market, it stands at US$3,500. Considering potential tariffs on JD.com’s international products, industry experts anticipate the final selling price to be slightly higher than the stated US$3,500.
Vision Pro, Apple’s latest head-mounted display product unveiled in June last year, boasts a Micro-OLED screen with an 8K total resolution. It runs on the vision system and incorporates two chips—the standard M2 chip and the R1 processor to eliminate delays.
Apart from its advanced hardware, Vision Pro showcases impressive AR and VR capabilities. It’s important to note that individuals with myopia must wear glasses when using this product. Zeiss optical lenses for reading glasses cost US$99, and prescription glasses cost US$149.
