Today, BYD’s subsidiary brand, Yangwang Motors, unveiled the “BYD Yangwang U7 Sedan,” a new flagship electric luxury sedan in the million-level segment. As the first sedan under the Yangwang brand, the U7 targets the luxury car market. Its price tag will reach 1 million yuan (about $140,000).
Moreover, the car’s front features a design similar to the Yangwang U9, including the unique “Time Gate” style headlights. The hood boasts distinct lines, emphasizing a sense of power.
According to the company, the Yangwang U7 claims to have over a thousand horsepower and features an innovative aerodynamic design. The rear adopts a sleek, fastback style with a continuous light strip, enhancing its sporty appearance.
Beyond its exterior, the Yangwang U7 has the latest e⁴ platform. Its side waistlines and shoulder lines resemble those found in supercars, suggesting outstanding aerodynamic performance. The car also cleverly integrates a lidar system on its roof.
