Recently unveiled on Google Play Console, Samsung introduced its latest 5G tablet, the Galaxy Tab Active 5. Identified as the SM-X306B model, this tablet has 6GB of memory and will operate on the Android 14 system.
Examining the tablet’s design, as per information on the Google Play Console page, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 5 5G displays a sturdy design with thick borders surrounding the screen. Notably, the bottom of the screen features three entities: Home, Back, and Recent Tasks buttons, enhancing user convenience during tablet operation.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 5 offers a screen resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels, ensuring a clear display with a pixel density of 320 dpi. Powering the device is the Exynos 1380 5G chipset, ensuring smooth and stable performance for multitasking and high-load operations.
Meeting hardware expectations, the tablet has actively secured FCC certification. Additionally, the relevant documents highlight its 128GB internal storage capacity, which can be expanded with a microSD card up to 64 GB. Furthermore, the tablet accommodates S-Pen input and comes bundled with a 15W charger.
Further insights from the Geekbench database indicate performance metrics. In the performance test, the tablet achieved a single-core score of 1022 points and a multi-core score of 2815 points, showcasing excellent performance.
In December of the previous year, the team shared high-definition renderings of the tablet. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 5 tablet features an 8-inch WUXGA display with exceptional touch sensitivity. Accompanied by a user-replaceable 5050mAh battery and a dual-camera system, this tablet caters to users’ needs for photography and video calls.
