POCO, a brand under Xiaomi, is set to unveil the POCO X6 / Pro series of smartphones at an event on January 11. At the same time, POCO announced the M6 Pro 4G, priced at 20,394 Indian Rupees (about $248), also scheduled for a January 11 launch. This smartphone features a 64MP main camera and supports 67W fast charging.
The POCO M6 Pro 4G has the MediaTek Helio G99 processor. The phone has a 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED screen. It includes a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 16MP front camera. Moreover, the phone offers 12GB LPDDR4Z RAM and 512GB UFS 2.2 storage. It includes a 5000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging.
The POCO X6 / M6 series is reportedly similar to the Redmi K70E launched in China, featuring a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with 1800 nits peak brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also supports 67W fast charging and includes a screen fingerprint recognition sensor.
The series will feature Xiaomi HyperOS, launched on October 26, 2023, focusing on system optimizations and app launch speed. The Xiaomi HyperOS aims to integrate personal devices, smart homes, and intelligent transportation.
