Today, the blogger @数码闲聊站 directly revealed a line drawing of the suspected Huawei P70, which differs from the previous Huawei P60 series.
From the line drawing, it’s evident that the Huawei P70 features a rectangular and rounded rear camera module, housing three circular hollows corresponding to the three cameras. The arrangement forms an isosceles triangle layout, with the flash positioned between the two hollows on the left.
According to the latest reports, the P70 Art might come equipped with Sony’s one-inch sensor (Sony IMX989), while the ultra-wide-angle camera adopts a 1G6P structure of “one layer of glass lens + six layers of plastic lens.” Additionally, other models in the Huawei P70 series will employ the OV50H sensor from the domestic manufacturer Howe for the main camera.
Notably, previous reports suggest that the Huawei P70 Art might be the first to feature Sony’s one-inch main camera sensor. To ensure an ample supply, Huawei has reportedly stockpiled over 2 million Sony IMX989 sensors. Meanwhile, the main cameras in other P70 series models will utilize the OV50H sensor from the Chinese manufacturer OmniVision. This sensor, in its debut year, features a 1/1.3-inch outsole, supporting a full 50-megapixel Bayer output and a 2x crop zoom function. The one-pixel binning enables 12.5-megapixel video and preview with a 2.4-micron equivalent sensitivity, supporting 8K video through an on-chip pixel restoration algorithm.
