On January 5, Honor CEO Zhao Ming revealed their latest color for the Honor Magic 6 series: Mailang Green. This addition completes the series’ palette, which now includes Qilian Snow, Haihu Green, Liuyun Purple, Mailang Green, and Velvet Black.
Each color has a unique inspiration. Haihu Green echoes the icy beauty of Qinghai Lake in winter, capturing its frozen splendor. Liuyun Purple reflects the serene dawn views near Qinghai Lake. Qilian Snow represents the majestic, snow-covered Qilian Mountains. Velvet Black brings a timeless, sophisticated black that’s always in style. Finally, Mailang Green symbolizes the rolling waves of barley wheat under Zhuoer Mountain in summer.
The Honor Magic 6 series features a unique camera setup. The cameras are arranged in a ‘star wheel three-camera’ formation internally. Externally, they adopt a distinctive ‘pincushion’ shape, merging a circle within a square and vice versa.
The Honor Magic 6 features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Additionally, the screen supports 3840Hz PWM dimming, while the image utilizes variable aperture technology. Moreover, it comes with a built-in 5800mAh Qinghai Lake battery.
The Honor Magic6 Pro also has numerous design innovations. It’s been reported that the front will feature a central double-hole curved screen. The model is currently testing several advanced features. These include 3D ToF face recognition, OV50H/OV50K image sensors, a 160-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, variable aperture, satellite communication, and more. Additionally, a new model, BVL-AN16, has received 3C certification from the China Quality Certification Center. It supports 100W fast charging and is referred to as a “satellite mobile terminal.”
