OPPO officially announced that the Find X7 series global flagship launch event will take place on January 8 at 14:30. OPPO will officially unveil the much-anticipated Find X7 series soon. As the release date nears, leaks and official teasers for the device are increasing. So far, extensive exposure has revealed the phone’s appearance and specifications, especially highlighting its imaging capabilities. The latest information from OPPO provides additional details about the phone’s video-shooting capabilities.

According to the latest information released by OPPO, it aligns with previous leaks. The Find X7 series will debut with Android-wide 4K Dolby Vision HDR video recording, aiming to deliver masterful imagery. Previous rumors and this information suggest that the phone will feature a single periscope lens design. It will come with an F/1.6 large aperture main camera, supporting a 16mm-70mm focal range, 3X optical zoom, and Hasselblad imaging. On the other hand, the OPPO Find X7 Ultra will further incorporate a dual periscope lens design, featuring an F/1.8 LYT900 one-inch main camera supporting a focal range of 14-135mm, 3X optical zoom + 6X optical zoom, and Hasselblad imaging. Additionally, the series will house an industry-first large model with a 70-megapixel sensor deployed on the side, promising unprecedented AI performance upgrades through hardware and algorithmic enhancements.
In other aspects, according to previous leaks, the all-new Find X7 series might exclude the Pro version and instead introduce three models: Find X7 Standard Edition, Find X7 Ultra, and Find X7 Ultra Satellite Edition. The Snapdragon 8 Gen3 flagship processor will likely power these devices. It includes a 50-megapixel Sony LYT900 main camera with OIS optical stabilization.
Notably, the phone will employ a large periscope lens of 2.7X/3X, likely housing the IMX890 sensor, coupled with a 6X IMX858 super-telephoto lens, forming a “dual telephoto” design.
