CEO Zhao Ming of Honor Terminal Co., Ltd. has been actively teasing the upcoming Honor Magic 6 series, maintaining a rhythm of “revealing a new color every day.” Today, the company unveiled three color options: the new “Flowing Cloud Purple” and “Qilian Snow,” along with the previously introduced “Lake Qinghai Blue.”
Two color options:
“Flowing Cloud Purple”: Inspired by the dawn scenery along Qinghai Lake, a touch of light purple morning glow reflects on ripples, creating a splendid interplay between the lake and flowing clouds. The magnificent landscapes of China inspire the CMF (Color, Material, and Surface Treatment) design of the Honor Magic6 series.
“Qilian Snow” actively highlights the Qilian Mountains’ prominence. These mountains, straddling the border between Qinghai Province to the northeast and Gansu Province to the west in China, stand as a significant range within the nation. Their peaks, soaring over 4000 meters, boast year-round snow cover. The Qilian Mountains’ majestic height and the pure beauty of Qilian Snow capture the essence of “Heavenly Mountains.” This essence is skillfully incorporated into the back cover of the Honor Magic6 series.
The device adopts an intriguing pillow-shaped surround for the circular camera module design, adding a sense of dimensionality. It houses a triple-camera setup on the rear, featuring a prominent 100X zoom logo. Moreover, the back covers of different color variants showcase distinct texture effects. Blogger @DigitalChitChat previously shared the front view of the Honor Magic6 Pro, featuring a centrally positioned dual-hole curved screen.
The blogger hinted that the Honor Magic 6 Pro is undergoing testing for various technologies, including 3D ToF facial recognition, OV50H / OV50K imaging sensors, a 160 Megapixel periscope telephoto lens, variable aperture, and satellite communication. Additionally, a joint design collaboration with Porsche is in the works.
Earlier, the China Quality Certification Center granted the new BVL-AN16 model 3C certification. This certification recognizes the model’s 100W fast charging support and labels it as the “Satellite Mobile Terminal.” Experts expect it to be the Honor Magic6 Pro. The official announcement reveals that the Honor Magic6 series features Hongyan satellite communication technology, allowing voice calls and text messages.
