Recently, BMW Group executives announced the imminent launch of the new BMW 5 Series long-wheelbase model, set to roll off the assembly line at the BMW Shenyang production facility. It will be delivered across China starting in early 2024.

Featuring the latest BMW design language, it comes in two styles: a luxurious package and a sporty M package. Dimension-wise, the new 5 Series stretches to 5175/1900/1520mm with a 3105mm wheelbase, ensuring a spacious and comfortable interior for passengers.
Innovation shines in the new BMW 5 Series, especially with its advanced intelligent driving assistance systems. Featuring an L2+ system, it has undergone extensive testing, racking up over 130,000 kilometers, and has seen over 100 updates tailored to the Chinese market. Notably, BMW introduced an automatic lane-changing function with visual confirmation, refined specifically for Chinese drivers’ physical characteristics and driving styles.
Inside, the new 5 Series exudes luxury and technological sophistication. It has a 12.3-inch LCD instrument panel and a 14.9-inch touchscreen, ensuring both elegance and ease of use. For an elevated experience, it includes a Bowers & Wilkins surround sound system and a four-zone automatic climate control system for the rear. Additionally, the rear seats feature a massive 31-inch floating screen with up to 8K resolution, enhancing in-journey entertainment with real-time interconnectivity.
