This evening, Lei Jun unveiled a video showcasing the Xiaomi SU7 Moose test conducted by Xiaomi Automobile. Situated at Qingdao Liuting Airport, Xiaomi Auto’s Moose test site features three different widths: 2.3m, 2.95m, and 3 meters. Throughout the test, the Xiaomi SU7 exhibited an exceptionally graceful body posture, ultimately reaching a Moose speed of 82km/h and securing test scores.
Notably, these results have propelled the Xiaomi SU7 into the top 10 of historical rankings for global model Elk tests, surpassing renowned models like the Porsche 997 GT2 and Tesla Model Y. Furthermore, in recent experiments, bloggers rigorously tested the SU7 engineering prototype, equipped with a V8S motor. Surpassing speeds of 311 kilometers per hour, comparable to high-speed rail, it effortlessly outperformed many million-level performance cars.
Although the upcoming mass-produced version of Xiaomi SU7 will not feature a V8S drive motor, these tests underscore the remarkable performance potential of the vehicle, positioning it against million-level sports cars. Additionally, the SU7 boasts the world’s lowest drag coefficient of 0.195Cd, incorporates the first quadruple braking safety mechanism to prevent brake failure, accelerates from zero to 100 in 2.78 seconds (surpassing the Porsche Taycan Turbo), and is equipped with a 101kWh CATL battery.
Lei Jun emphasized Xiaomi’s overarching goal—to craft a dream car for consumers, offering a harmonious blend of human and car control for an unparalleled driving experience.
