Today, OPPO revealed plans to host the Find X7 series global flagship launch conference at 14:30 on January 8, 2024. Furthermore, the new generation Find X7 series will feature the world’s first dual periscope camera, marking an unprecedented technological milestone in mobile imaging. On December 29, news emerged that OPPO had officially announced the event this morning. Simultaneously, the company released online renderings of the actual device and some configuration details.
OPPO Find X7 Features
The event’s promotional poster indicates that the OPPO Find X7 series will include two models: the Find X7 and the Ultra version, notably excluding the regular Pro version. Additionally, the Ultra version will offer four color options: Sea and Sky, Smoke and Cloud Purple, Desert Silver Moon, and Pine Shadow Moyun, while OPPO Find X7 is available in Smoke Purple and Starry Black colors. The phone’s design will continue the family style seen in the Find X6, featuring a spliced material design and a rear circular lens module.
PConline’s earlier reports detail the rear camera specifications. The standard Find X7 will sport a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide angle, and a 3X 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. The main camera will likely feature a non-double-layer transistor Sony LYT 808 sensor. A 3x periscope telephoto lens will incorporate an OV64B sensor, and a JN1 sensor will equip the ultra-wide-angle lens.
The OPPO Find X7 Ultra models boast even more robust imaging configurations. They will have a LYT900 main camera and a 6X dual periscope lens featuring 3X+IMX858. The ultra-large cup model will use the ultra-wide-angle LYT600 sensor. This marks the first instance of using a dual periscope solution, promising consumers an enhanced telephoto experience.
Two new OPPO phones recently received national 3C certification, with model numbers PHZ110 and PHY110, likely corresponding to the OPPO Find X7 and X7 Ultra. Both devices, produced in OPPO’s factories, will support 100W fast charging.
Lastly, OPPO’s official Weibo account confirms that the new product launch conference will take place at 14:30 on January 8, 2024. The event will be available for viewing on the OPPO official website and other live broadcast platforms.
