Today, Xiaomi Intelligent Ecosystem officially announced the upcoming sale of the Mijia Smart Range Hood and Stove Set S2, priced at an initial 3,699 yuan (about $519).
Xiaomi Mijia Smart Range Hood and Stove Set S2 features dynamic particle capture technology, the new smoke purifier tackles issues such as oil smoke, smoky odor suction and discharge, and PM2.5 particles. It establishes a safe breathing triangle area by employing a front BLDC fan to generate an anti-emission air curtain.
Equipped with a PM2.5 detector identical to the Mijia air purifier, the purifier monitors kitchen air in real-time. If PM2.5 levels exceed the standard, the hood will automatically activate. Moreover, the range hood incorporates gesture control functionality. Users can turn it on by swiping right, adjust wind force with continued right swipes, and turn it off by swiping left.
For added convenience, users can remotely control the smoke purifier, set cleaning reminders, and activate smart dry cleaning through the Mijia App or Xiaoai Audio. The accompanying stove in this set supports 1-180 minute timing, automatically shutting off the flame and gas when the set time elapses. With an ultra-high firepower of 5200W and a remarkable 68% thermal efficiency, the stove also prompts users to prevent accidental dangers after continuous use for over an hour, as indicated by the Mijia App.
