On December 20, today, OPPO officially declared that the world’s first inclusion of a Sony LYT-900 image sensor would grace its latest flagship mobile phone, the Find X7 series.
As per the information revealed through OPPO’s official poster, the dimensions of this groundbreaking Sony LYT-900 image sensor measure up to 1 inch, and have 50 Megapixels with a pixel size of 1.6μm. Users can enhance the photography experience with sensors of these specifications, solidifying the Find X7 series mobile phones’ edge in image performance.
Notably, OPPO and its sibling brand OnePlus had previously introduced Sony LYT-T808 and LYT-808 image sensors, both featuring 50MP 1/1.4-inch sensors. Following the nomenclature of these sensors, it becomes evident that the higher the number in the Sony LYT series, the superior the grade and performance of the products.
Maintaining a longstanding, close collaborative partnership, OPPO and Sony have consistently pioneered the global release of numerous new sensors, setting a precedent for groundbreaking innovations.
The Dimensity 9300 processor will equip the standard version of the OPPO Find X7, while the Pro and Ultra versions will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor. Additionally, the Ultra version will boast exclusive satellite communication functions. Concerning screens, the entire Find X7 series will adopt a curved screen solution. The standard version will feature a screen utilizing BOE X1’s innovative base material. As for the Pro and Ultra versions, a 6.82-inch 2K screen is anticipated, coupled with support for a 120Hz LTPO refresh rate.
