Ahead of the official launch, certain netizens have preemptively compared the appearances of SU7 and Porsche TayCan. Based on public feedback, the consensus leans towards Xiaomi having a more appealing and contemporary design, distinct from Porsche. Reports indicate that the SU7 will come in two battery capacity variants, boasting capacities of 101kWh and 73.6kWh respectively. Each variant offers two battery life configurations.
The 101kWh battery pack promises respective ranges of 800km and 750km, while the 73.6kWh battery pack provides ranges of 668km and 628km. This positions the SU7 with an impressive maximum range of 800km and a starting range of 628km.
In terms of curb weight, the 101kWh version of Xiaomi Motors SU7 weighs 2205kg, while the 73.6kWh version tips the scales at 1980kg—comparable to other mainstream electric vehicles in the same class. As per earlier leaks, Xiaomi car models have been categorized into standard, Pro, Max, and a track version. Anticipated prices range from 190,000 to 300,000 yuan.
