Benit Bruhner Pro shared three visuals on X (previously known as Twitter), showcasing Samsung One UI 6.1 in various online images and screenshots.
OneUI 6.1 is set to debut on the Galaxy S24, and Samsung will subsequently release it on existing Galaxy smartphones, along with their wallpapers. One UI 6.1 introduces AI functionalities, including an AI-generated wallpaper feature. A notable feature is the AI-powered wallpaper generator, which allows users to input a theme and background name for a customized wallpaper. The lock screen includes options for adding photos and weather effects.
The built-in photo editor in One UI 6.1 allows users to move objects with drag and drop gestures, facilitating object selection and placement between photos. It enhances gallery photos, including straightening images with automatic detail filling. The photo editor also offers undo and redo options for edits, including drawings and stickers.
One UI 6.1 adds a function to Samsung Notes, summarizing lengthy notes by converting extensive text into easily digestible bullet points. It also automatically formats handwritten notes after converting them to text. In communication, OneUI 6.1 introduces real-time voice call translation as participants switch between languages. Samsung Gauss powers this feature. Voice focus, previously found in mid-range and entry-level smartphones, is now available in high-end phones with the One UI 6.1 update. The new adaptive protection features make sure to charge the battery to 80% and then pause, resuming to 100% just before the user wakes up. The battery can only charge up to 80% to ensure maximum protection.
