The Xiaomi Ice Cooling Back Clip, previously revealed during the launch event for the Redmi K70 series, is currently available for purchase through all outlets, starting at a base price of 149 yuan (about $20).
As per sources, this device employs a 30W semiconductor cooling chip and a layered aluminum alloy directional airflow structure. Operating solo, it can achieve a reduction to -4°C without any load (Note: In a 25°C Xiaomi lab setting). The Xiaomi Frost Cooling Back Clip is also furnished with a 7-blade fan capable of reaching speeds of up to 6300 rpm.
The Xiaomi Ice Cooling Back Clip offers three cooling modes, easily switchable with a single click, and four lighting modes, allowing for real-time shifts in colorful light effects. This product can monitor the real-time temperature of the semiconductor cooling chip and heat sink using an intelligent temperature control algorithm, dynamically adjusting the operational power. It claims to “maintain the smartphone’s optimal operating temperature” to enhance the user experience.
Regarding its aesthetics, this Xiaomi Ice Cooling Back Clip has a recently upgraded upper and lower vent design, facilitating smooth airflow without affecting your hands. It utilizes a tiered silicone clamping arm to accommodate various button placements and is compatible with models of various sizes.
