Today, Intel China unveiled a warm-up poster, officially announcing the imminent launch of its latest Core Ultra processor in the Chinese market on December 15. Utilizing advanced 3D packaging technology, this processor strategically divides the entire unit into distinct functional partitions, including the computing module, IO module, SoC module, and graphics module.
According to previous reports, Intel Core Ultra processor belong to the Meteor Lake series and are built on the Intel 4 process. The poster prominently showcases Intel’s emphasis on core graphics performance and AI capabilities, featuring visuals generated through the AIGC tool. Notably, the processor adopts a high-performance hybrid architecture, incorporating a performance core (Redwood Cove), an energy-efficient core (Crestmont), and a low-power energy-efficient core.
Adding to its innovative features, this processor marks a significant milestone by integrating a neural network processing unit (NPU) directly into a PC processor, aiming to expedite the widespread adoption of artificial intelligence. Moreover, Meteor Lake introduces AI to client PCs, delivering low-latency AI computing. Intel asserts its commitment to spearheading this transformative trend by integrating AI into hundreds of millions of PCs in the coming years.
