On December 1, news broke that Lenovo is preparing to launch its new ThinkPad X1 Carbon 2024 notebook. Scheduled for release in December of this year, this notebook will showcase the highly anticipated Core Ultra processor from Intel.
Furthermore, reports have unveiled renderings of the “ThinkPad X1 Carbon 2024.” In terms of design, the notebook showcases a touchpad reminiscent of the ThinkPad Z13, with narrower screen borders. Notably, the camera area adopts a distinctive “reverse bangs” design.
Having introduced the ThinkPad X1 Carbon 2023 notebook in May, utilizing the 13th generation P-series processor, Lenovo is ahead of schedule with the release of the ThinkPad X1 Carbon 2024. This model is expected to be among the first to incorporate the Core Ultra series processors.
Intel, which initially unveiled the Meteor Lake processors in September, is slated to officially launch them on December 14. Officials highlight that these Core Ultra mobile processors mark a crucial turning point in Intel’s client processor roadmap. The processors feature a core chip design for the first time, utilizing the Intel4 process and Foveros packaging technology.
