Recently, NVIDIA surfaced news indicating its plan to launch a special edition of the RTX 4090 D graphics card. To comply with relevant policy requirements, this card will adopt a more streamlined specification. Reliable sources report that the RTX 4090 D will feature the AD102-250 GPU, in contrast to the AD102-300/301 GPU found in the original RTX 4090.

Furthermore, expectations are that this graphics card will retain the 24GB GDDR6X VRAM, possibly with a slight reduction in the number of CUDA cores. At the same time, NVIDIA may impose restrictions on the overclocking capability of this card, aiming to prevent its computational power from exceeding 4800 TOPS.

Significantly, when using DLSS 3 technology with the RTX 4090, testing results show performance gains of over 2 times. While adjustments in these products for the Chinese market are inevitable due to regulatory policies and changing market demands, updates and iterations will continue to captivate the attention and anticipation of gamers.

According to leaks from the media, NVIDIA is planning to introduce a brand-new model of graphics card specifically for Chinese gamers. Named “GeForce RTX 4090 D,” this distinctive model possibly signifies the Year of the Dragon in the Chinese lunar calendar for 2024.

Allegedly, the developers designed this NVidia RTX 4090 D graphics card specifically for the Chinese consumer market, incorporating the new AD102 architecture. Transitioning to the cost aspect, reports indicate that the price of this card matches that of the non-“D” model RTX 4090. In the global market, it stands at $1,599, while in China, it is priced at 12,999 Yuan (about $1838).
