The Geekbench benchmarking platform recently showcased a Huawei device code-named “XYAO-W00.” Sporting a down-clocked variant of the Kirin 9000S processor, the device achieved a single-core running score of 1244 points and a multi-core running score of 3793 points. It is highly probable that this device is none other than the upcoming Huawei MatePad Pro 11 2024, with 12GB of memory.

Examining the processor’s CPU architecture reveals a composition of 1×2.49GHz Taishan core, 3×2.15GHz Taishan core, and 4×1.53GHz Cortex-A510. Compared to the original Kirin 9000S, we have reduced the ultra-large core frequency by 0.13GHz, but the GPU model still retains the Maleoon 910. Notably, the preceding Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 featured the original Kirin 9000S processor, yielding a benchmark test single-core score of 1,243 points and a multi-core score of 4,111 points.

According to reports, the down-clocked Kirin 9000S processor is anticipated to debut in both the Huawei MatePad Pro 11 2024 tablet and the Huawei nova12 series. Adding to the intrigue, the Huawei MatePad Pro 11 2024 model has recently secured 3C certification, boasting support for 66W fast charging technology. Positioned as the inaugural tablet with two-way satellite communication capabilities and starlight connection features, this tablet also comes equipped with Huawei’s third-generation M-Pencil stylus.

Despite the lowered performance, attributed to the down-clocked Kirin 9000S processor, whether it is a result of defects from the original Kirin 9000S processor remains uncertain. Nonetheless, a comparative analysis of the data suggests that the performance disparity might be marginal, with no significant impact on overall user experience expected.
