On November 29, Redmi will launch its first metal smartwatch, the Redmi Watch 4, alongside the Redmi K70 series. Today, according to official information from Redmi, the Redmi Watch 4 has a remarkable 20-day battery life.
It’s important to note that the 20 days mentioned are not the absolute limit of the Redmi Watch 4’s battery life. As indicated in the teaser posters, the AOD mode provides 10 days of battery life, the typical mode extends it to 20 days, and activating the long battery life mode pushes it to an impressive 30 days of standby time on a single charge.
However, it’s worth mentioning that while the long battery life mode extends standby time significantly, it does impact the use of certain features. For daily use, users can opt for the typical mode or AOD mode. Even with a 10-day battery life, it’s much more convenient than the Apple Watch, which requires almost daily charging.
In terms of design, the Redmi Watch 4 features an alloy frame, and a metal crown, and offers a variety of trendy quick-release wristbands. With a screen size of 1.97 inches, it boasts the largest AMOLED display among all Redmi Watches to date, supporting a maximum brightness of 600 nits and featuring an LTPS low-power display. Furthermore, the Redmi Watch4 will be equipped with Xiaomi’s new OS, Wear OS, which promises to support additional new features and characteristics. This development is certainly something to look forward to.
