This morning, the OnePlus 12 press conference unveiled the scheduled launch time, set for 14:30 on December 5. Simultaneously, the debut of the official poster showcased the new phone’s design.
Continuing the overall design concept of the previous generation, the OnePlus 12 has innovatively incorporated glass material for its lens module, departing from the metal design of its predecessor. This change enhances transparency, resulting in a more cohesive overall appearance. Regarding color options, the phone adheres to the previously announced information, presenting three colors: white, pale green, and rock black. OnePlus China’s President, Li Jie, noted that these colors boast the industry’s top glass technology.
A notable feature of the OnePlus 12 is its introduction of a domestic 2K Oriental screen, measuring 6.82 inches. Claimed to be the world’s best in eye protection, this 2K screen holds the distinction of being the first in China to secure DisplayMate A+ certification. With a screen resolution of 3168×1440p, it supports an LTPO adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
In terms of core performance, the OnePlus 12 houses a Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor, a substantial 5400mAh battery, and boasts support for 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. Turning to photography, the phone’s main camera employs Sony’s LYT-808 sensor, featuring a sizable 1/1.4-inch sensor and OIS optical anti-shake technology. These formidable specifications position the OnePlus 12 as a highly anticipated flagship phone.
