The blogger @LearnPhotography recently shared a video on Weibo featuring an encounter with a Xiaomi car on the road. In the video, the shooter attempted to keep up with and overtake the Xiaomi SU7 test car but was unsuccessful.
Upon reviewing the footage, the shooter’s lens captured the Xiaomi SU7 with an actively raised rear spoiler. At one point, the vehicle in which the shooter was located exceeded speeds of 150 km/h. However, the Xiaomi car suddenly accelerated midway, leaving the shooter’s vehicle behind considerably. Simultaneously, the car’s circular through-type taillights remained illuminated.
It is noteworthy that this particular Xiaomi SU7, unlike the previously released “ID photo” with a thick cover, had a layer of common camouflage on its surface.
The Xiaomi SU7 combines data from Tenna and interior spy shots, featuring an active rear spoiler as standard, with some models also including Brembo brake calipers. The car offers two different versions with either single or dual motors. The former has a motor power of 220 kW and a top speed of 210 km/h, while the latter features two motors with power ratings of 220 kW and 275 kW, achieving a maximum speed of 265 km/h.
Interior spy shots reveal that the new car has a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel with a flat-bottom design. It also features two independent function knobs, with speculation that the left one is related to driving assistance, and the right one with a red circle is for driving mode adjustment, providing a performance car vibe.
