Recently, MediaTek announced the official release of the Dimensity 8300 processor on November 21, which has “Ice Peak Energy Efficiency, Super Godly Evolution. Today, the Dimensity 8300’s first Geekbench 6 score surfaced, indicating that leaks are pointing toward the Redmi K70 series as the initial model.
The benchmark results show that the model number is 2311DRK48C, with a single-core score of 1512 and a multi-core score of 4886. It is worth noting that the Dimensity 8300 adopts a 1+3+4 architecture, with the CPU comprising a 13.35GHz Cortex-X3 super-large core. Also 33.32GHz Cortex-A715 large cores, and 4*2.2GHz Cortex-A510 cores. The GPU is the Mali-G615 MC6, manufactured using TSMC’s N4 4nm process. From the benchmark scores, the MTK 8300 specifications appear highly robust, positioning it as the anticipated next-gen powerhouse in the mid-to-high-end segment. Compared to the Dimensity 8200, both the CPU and GPU have seen significant improvements.
This month will see the launch of the Redmi K70 series, which will introduce three models: K70E, K70, and K70 Pro. The K70 comes equipped with Qualcomm’s second-generation Snapdragon 8, while the K70 Pro boasts the latest third-generation Snapdragon 8. Looking at the processors, the Redmi K70 series covers the mid-range and high-end markets comprehensively.
