The Red Magic 9 Pro series, the latest iteration of Red Magic’s flagship gaming mobile phone, has recently kicked off its pre-announcement campaign. Scheduled for an official unveiling on November 23, the series includes the sleek Red Magic 9 Pro, as revealed by official sources.
Adding to the allure, the Red Magic 9 Pro has a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, a robust 6500mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging, and an under-screen front-facing solution. Transitioning from its predecessor, the screen, although not reaching 1.5K resolution, has reportedly seen improvement, hovering around 1.2K compared to the 1080P under-screen display.
Delving into the specifics, the camera design adopts a flat layout, with noteworthy specifications for both the main and ultra-wide-angle secondary cameras. The main camera is a 50-megapixel Samsung GN5 with OIS optical image stabilization, while the secondary camera features a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1, housed in a 1/2.67-inch configuration. In addition, the Red Magic exclusively customized the integrated glass on the back of the fuselage, claiming to have “created a piece of fuselage glass that can be used as a camera lens.”
Beyond its camera capabilities, the Red Magic9 Pro comes equipped with a host of advanced features, including a 3.5mm headphone jack, support for NFC, and infrared remote control functions, all encased in a svelte 8.9mm body. In the realm of gaming phones, the Red Magic 9 Pro stands out with minimal shortcomings, making it a noteworthy contender in the gaming phone arena.
