Recently uncovered the quiet shutdown of all core functions in the Microsoft Store app on the Microsoft Win10 Mobile platform. The store homepage, app download, and update pages face complete loading failures, while the app details page experiences intermittent accessibility.

Microsoft definitively ceased support for all Win 10 Mobile devices on December 10, 2019. Simultaneously, the closure of the Windows Phone 8.1 store in December of that year marked the end of Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile systems.

Even with the cessation of device support, the Microsoft Win10 Mobile App Store remained accessible. During this period, Microsoft stated, “Although we will no longer update the operating system, developers and OEMs will be responsible for maintaining support for apps and other software, and the Microsoft Store will remain operational.”

Despite this assurance, Microsoft Win10 Mobile supports sideloading, offering a workaround for users. Although the App Store itself may be unresponsive, applications can still be installed through sideloading.

Remarkably, some netizens reported normal store functionality after downloading the latest offline package and installing it. In the face of these developments, it is undeniable that Microsoft has opted to abandon the Windows 10 Mobile and Windows Phone 8 operating systems.
