Huawei Mate 60 Pro Teardown Reveals Chinese Parts Usage

According to the latest disassembly report, Huawei Mate 60 Pro has made significant progress in the proportion of domestically produced parts in China. Specific data indicates that Chinese-made components in the Mate 60 Pro account for 47% of the total value, representing an 18% increase compared to the Mate 40 Pro at the same price point three years ago.

Furthermore, the teardown report reveals that the total cost of components for the Mate 60 Pro is approximately 3100 yuan (approximately $422), with the value of components manufactured in China being about $198. This reflects a growth of approximately 90% compared to the Mate 40 Pro.

It is worth noting that in this teardown, Huawei has opted for Chinese-made screens from BOE, replacing those from South Korean manufacturers. Additionally, touchscreen components and others are also supplied by Chinese vendors. This initiative undoubtedly plays a positive role in promoting the development of Chinese components.
