Last month, Xiaomi officially released the Xiaomi Mi 14/14 Pro mobile phone. However, Xiaomi did not unveil the 14 Ultra mobile phone at this conference; they are expected to release it separately later.
According to blogger @digitalchatstation, Xiaomi’s next two new high-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 phones will still feature four-camera periscope and dual-focal segments. Among them, the candy bar flagship will use the Sony LYT900 sensor, while the folding screen variant will incorporate new technology and a new main camera. The design approach draws inspiration from the previous generation and then implements “micro-innovations.” Notably, the folding model offers an all-round experience and can also reduce weight.
According to the blogger’s description, it appears that these two new phones are likely to be the Xiaomi 14 Ultra and MIX Fold 4. In contrast, Leica optical full-focus quad cameras equipped the previous generation Xiaomi 13 Ultra and MIX Fold 3.
In the case of Xiaomi Mi 13 Ultra, it boasts a 50MP Sony IMX989 main camera with a one-inch variable aperture, along with a 50MP telephoto lens (equivalent to a 75mm focal length), a 50MP super-telephoto lens (equivalent to a 120mm focal length), and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens (equivalent to a 12mm focal length).
On the other hand, the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 features a 50MP Sony IMX800 main camera (equivalent to a 23mm focal length), a 10MP telephoto lens (equivalent to a 75mm focal length), a 10MP periscope telephoto lens (equivalent to a 115mm focal length), and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens (equivalent to a 15mm focal length).
We expect the debut of the new iterations to take some time, considering that Xiaomi released the previous generation Xiaomi Mi 13 Ultra in April and MIX Fold 3 in August, respectively.
