In this year’s Xiaomi 14 series, Xiaomi has also specifically created a higher-end model, the Xiaomi 14 Pro Titanium Special Edition, priced at 6,499 yuan (about $890). As soon as the Xiaomi 14 Pro Titanium Special Edition went on sale, it remained in high demand, leading to cases of scalpers reselling it at inflated prices due to its difficulty to acquire.
Today, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun stated in a post that they are making every effort to expedite the orders for the Xiaomi14 Pro Titanium Special Edition. He pointed out that the high cost and complexity of processing titanium metal have led to slower order fulfillment, and he hopes for everyone’s understanding.
It is worth noting that Xiaomi User Operations Manager, “Little Chubby, the Treasure of Humanity,” previously mentioned that the Xiaomi14 Pro Titanium Special Edition has a low yield rate with limited initial stock, but production capacity will ramp up in the future to replenish supplies. Furthermore, it’s important to emphasize that we are not selling this model as a limited edition, so there’s no need to pay a premium for it.
In terms of its design, this edition features a titanium frame with 99% purity and a fingerprint-resistant coating, making it less prone to fingerprints compared to the iPhone 15 Pro series.
