On October 31, Xiaomi unveiled the all-new Xiaomi Watch S3 at a product launch event. This intelligent timepiece will officially go on sale at 8 p.m. tonight, with pricing set at 799 yuan (about $109) for the standard version and 999 yuan (about $135) for the eSIM version.
The Xiaomi Watch S3 features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 326PPI, a brightness of 600 nits, and support for a 60Hz refresh rate. It offers users a choice of three colors: silver, black, and coffee gold. Additionally, the product provides interchangeable bezels and genuine leather straps in colors such as azure, dual time zone, vibrant yellow, and black rainbow.
Equipped with a 12-channel heart rate monitoring module, it supports all-day heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen saturation monitoring, stress monitoring, and breathing training, among other features. It also comes with an L1+L5 dual-frequency GNSS chip for precise positioning using five major satellite systems. Furthermore, this smartwatch boasts a professional skiing mode that records skiing duration, distance, and average speed.
In terms of battery life, the typical battery life of the Bluetooth version of the Xiaomi Watch S3 is 15 days. When you activate eSIM functionality, it provides 5 days of AOD (Always On Display) battery life. Under heavy usage, the battery lasts for 7 days. It’s worth noting that the standard version achieves a typical battery life of 15 days when you enable eSIM functionality.
