The official Xiaomi TV Weibo account has announced that the Xiaomi TV S Pro 85 officially go on sale at 8 p.m. on Oct 31, with a price of 7999 yuan (about $1,090).
This TV features a Mini LED screen, where Mini LED bulbs directly provide the backlight source, completely resolving the previous issues of traditional LCD screens such as dimming and uneven brightness. The 85-inch version offers 1440 lighting control zones, ensuring stable control of dark areas and excellent control of object edges and subtitle halo.
In addition to the thousands of lighting control zones, the Xiaomi TV S Pro 85-inch achieves a maximum peak brightness of 2400 nits and a pure black brightness of 0.0001 nits, coming very close to OLED’s dark scene performance. It also comes with a Light Sensor light sensor that automatically detects changes in ambient light and adjusts the screen brightness to achieve the most comfortable display.
Meanwhile, the Mi TV S Pro 85-inch introduces the groundbreaking HyperOS system, delivering a full-spectrum interactive experience. For instance, it can display food delivery information on the TV and even link with smart door locks, allowing you to see the delivery person at your door through the big screen, giving you control over your entire smart home.
