Huawei Luxeed Car division will begin pre-sales for their first sedan, the Huawei Luxeed S7, on November 9. This model generated great excitement in August when it revealed its exterior and interior designs, introduced the new HarmonyOS 4 system, and demonstrated the advanced ADS 2.0 intelligent driving system, sparking strong consumer interest.
The Luxeed S7 is a pure electric midsize sports sedan that positions itself with exceptional exterior design and interior craftsmanship. Real-world images reveal an upward-tilting storage compartment in the front passenger seat, previously rumored to be a flip-up “light-field screen.” However, the current vehicle on display lacks this function, but it doesn’t detract from the car’s overall aesthetic appeal.
We expect the Luxeed S7 to provide a leg rest on the front passenger seat, giving it a function similar to a “queen’s co-driver” or a “zero-gravity seat” in terms of seating. This design undoubtedly enhances passenger comfort and further elevates the car’s sense of luxury.
The Huawei Luxeed S7 delivers strong power. It uses CATL lithium iron phosphate or ternary lithium + lithium iron manganese lithium batteries, combined with Huawei’s motor, to achieve a robust power output. The two-wheel drive version boasts 215kW, while the four-wheel drive version offers 150/215kW. These impressive performance specs unquestionably make the Smart Luxeed S7 stand out in its class.
Huawei’s CEO, Richard Yu, stated that the Luxeed S7 will surpass Tesla’s Model S, unquestionably raising consumer expectations. Tesla’s Model S boasts excellent performance and a stellar reputation, making it a top-selling model. Huawei’s debut product in the Smart Luxeed Car division, which claims to outperform this model, clearly demonstrates Huawei’s ambitious plans in this field.
