ASUS officially launched the new ROG Strix 7 Plus today. AMD’s Ryzen 9 7945HX3D processor powers it, and it includes independent graphics in the form of the RTX 4090. The notebook features excellent heat dissipation and a high-refresh-rate large screen, offering desktop-level performance, priced at 23,999 yuan (about $3,280).
The notebook features a classic bevel design inspired by combat and is constructed from metal and composite materials. It includes a white luminous LOGO and a U-shaped chassis shadow light on the front for added atmosphere. The ROG Strix 7 Plus Super Edition boasts a 17.3-inch 2.5K 240Hz 3ms P3 wide color gamut e-sports screen with a three-sided narrow bezel design. It also supports Dolby Vision and NVIDIA G-SYNC synchronization technology.
The AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX3D processor, with 16 cores and 32 threads, powers the ROG Strix 7 Plus Super Version. This processor utilizes advanced technology and the Zen4 architecture. It also boasts 3D caching technology, enhancing application loading times and game frame rates. In addition, the notebook comes equipped with NVIDIA RTX 4090 independent graphics, 32GB DDR5 memory (expandable to 64GB), and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 solid-state drive with Raid 0 support and a reserved M.2 slot.
It employs Glacier Cooling Architecture 2.0 with robust liquid gold, a big vapor chamber, and improved cooling. We enhanced the air duct system for superior heat dissipation. It also offers WIFI 6E, a 90Wh battery with 100W PD fast charging, a one-key RGB backlit keyboard, and multiple expansion choices.
