According to VideoCardz, Snapdragon X Elite, the first new product of the Snapdragon X series, will launch the Oryon custom core and can bring about twice the performance of the x86 architecture with its CPU and GPU. The GPU computing power can reach 4.6 TFLOPS.

The CPU has 8 performance cores and 4 energy efficiency cores. The performance core runs at about 3.4GHz, while the efficiency core operates at around 2.5GHz.
The GPU uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 architecture. It links to a separate GPU using 8 PCIe 4.0 lanes, providing 4.6TFLOPS of computing power.
It supports up to 64GB of LPDDR5x memory, PCIe 4.0 SSD, and UFS 4.0 flash memory. The NPU (Neural Processing Unit) boasts 45TOPS of computing power.
Other configurations include support for DirectX 12, Vulkan 1.3, OpenCL, and DirectML. The wireless network supports Wi-Fi 7. In terms of IO, the chip supports two USB 3.1 10Gbps ports and three USB 4 (Thunderbolt 4) ports that support DisplayPort 1.4a. Additionally, the chip’s display output can handle resolutions up to 5K+4K+4K.
It is equipped with a plug-in 5G modem, and it’s worth noting that competing products, such as the Apple M series, do not offer this functionality.
