The 2024 Audi A6L has officially launched. This time, Audi has streamlined the configuration to 10 models, offering a price range of 427,900-656,800 yuan (about $58663-$90044). The vehicle retains its 2.0T low-power and 3.0T engines, maintaining its identity as a high-selling Audi brand in the mid-size sedan market. Furthermore, it remains one of the most popular mid-size sedans in the BBA segment. The new release primarily features minor adjustments to its appearance and configuration, with most aspects remaining unchanged.
The new model, like its predecessor, maintains a dual front-face design. The dynamic model, designed for younger buyers, features a starry sky lattice air intake grille, while the elegant model, aimed at business-oriented customers, opts for horizontal through-type chrome trim strips to highlight its elegance. It provides numerous options for a diverse audience. To cater to Chinese consumer preferences, the new model debuts two exclusive wheel sizes of 19 inches and 20 inches for the Chinese market, along with floor lamps that showcase the “four-ring LOGO.
The 2024 Audi A6L’s interior retains its family-oriented design with minimal changes. It features a full LCD instrument panel, an embedded central control screen, and an air-conditioning control screen. Upgrades include a leather covering for the steering wheel airbag area and a new front-row trim panel. The series now includes textured walnut trim and more comfortable headrests. Additionally, the new car offers various optional configurations, such as night vision systems, urban driving assistance, and high-end leather seats.
In terms of power, the options remain familiar. The 40TFSI features a low-power 2.0T four-cylinder engine with a maximum output of 190 horsepower, while the 45TFSI uses a high-power version of the 2.0T engine with a maximum output of 245 horsepower. The 55TFSI comes equipped with a 3.0T V6 engine, delivering a maximum output of 340 horsepower. All series come with a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
While the starting price exceeds 420,000 yuan, it’s important to note that Audi vehicles typically don’t sell at their guide prices. With a little patience, you can expect to purchase an A6L for over 300,000 yuan in the near future.
