Today, Thunderbird released the Thunderbird Air 2 XR glasses, with an initial purchase price of 2,299 yuan (about $315).
According to reports, the Thunderbird Air 2 adopts Feishi 2.0 ergonomic design, offering 9-way adjustment support, and the entire device weighs just 76g. In terms of hardware, it comes equipped with Sony’s new generation 0.55-inch Micro OLED display, which has 1080p high resolution, 4032PPI, 49PPD, a high 120Hz high refresh rate, a maximum brightness of 600 nits, and the ability to display a colossal 201-inch giant screen.
Furthermore, the glasses introduced the Switch-exclusive accessory, JoyDock, which can directly attach to the game console and then connect to the smart glasses using a Type-C data cable. This accessory comes with a 10,000mAh battery, capable of simultaneously charging both the Switch game console and the glasses.
Additionally, Thunderbird Air 2 XR can directly connect to a smartphone via the Type-C interface, providing support for users with myopia or hyperopia. Pre-orders for Thunderbird Air2 are now open, with the JoyDock accessory priced at 599 yuan (about $82), and the set with Thunderbird Air2 glasses available for 2,699 yuan (about $370).
