Geekbench 6 recently unveiled the running score data for the European version of the Samsung Galaxy S24+, which is powered by Samsung’s latest Exynos 2400 flagship chip. Featuring the processor model s5e9945, it employs a deca-core design of 1+2+3+4, with a super core clocked at 3.21GHz. The running score results reveal a single-core score of 2067 points and a multi-core score of 6520 points. Nevertheless, it falls slightly short in overall performance compared to the Ultra version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chip.
Exynos 2400 Benchmark
Additionally, the running score data indicates that the European variant of the Galaxy S24+ has 8GB of memory, mirroring the configuration of the 8GB memory version of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Samsung officials have declared that the Exynos 2400’s CPU performance surpasses the previous generation Exynos 2200 by 70%, with AI processing power leaping by 14.7 times. On the GPU front, the new chip incorporates the Xclipse 940 GPU, based on AMD’s latest GPU architecture RDNA3, rumored to include 6 WGP (workgroup processors) in the GPU.
According to reports, Samsung is planning to release the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ models equipped with Exynos 2400 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chips. The Exynos 2400 version will be available in Africa, Asia (including South Korea), Europe, and Latin America, while the Snapdragon-equipped version will hit North America (Canada and the United States). Notably, the Galaxy S24 Ultra across all regions globally will utilize the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy processor.
Despite the Samsung Galaxy S24+ falling slightly behind the Ultra version in terms of performance, the Exynos 2400 chip’s remarkable power is worth highlighting. Notably, it has made substantial improvements in CPU performance and AI processing capabilities. DXOMARK has officially released the image test results for the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, awarding it an image test score of 140 points, securing its 10th position in the rankings.
