Motorola released the Edge (2023) powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7030 chip, equipped with 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage, and running Android 13. It’s unclear how many major version updates the phone will receive.
Edge (2023) features a 6.6-inch 144Hz pOLED display, supporting 10-bit color and HDR10+. It comes with a touch sampling rate of 360Hz and a maximum brightness of 1,200 nits. Additionally, it supports under-screen fingerprint recognition and houses a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
The 2023 Motorola Edge features a sandblasted aluminum frame and an artificial leather back cover. On the back, you’ll find a flash and two cameras. A 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization. A 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with a 120° viewing angle, suitable for macro photography as well.
Regarding the battery, the Edge (2023) packs a 4400 mAh capacity and supports 68W wired charging and 15W wireless charging technology. Other highlights encompass stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, NFC, IP68 water and dust resistance, and a USB-C port.
Motorola Edge (2023) is exclusively available in Eclipse Black and is priced at US$599.99 in the United States. Currently, a limited-time promotion is ongoing, enabling consumers to acquire the product through Motorola’s official US website for $499.99.
