Earlier reports indicated that MIUI 14 might represent the final official major version of MIUI. However, Xiaomiui’s latest report states that the ongoing MIUI 15 test is upgrading pre-installed applications to natively support a 120Hz high refresh rate.
Reports also reveal that Xiaomi is actively enhancing MIUI to continually enhance the user experience and introduce numerous practical functions. In prior MIUI versions, some pre-installed applications lacked support for the 120Hz refresh rate. Xiaomi has heeded user feedback and addressed this in MIUI 15.

In MIUI 12, Xiaomi introduced “Extreme Mode.” When activated, all applications operate at a universal 120Hz refresh rate, thereby enhancing the user experience. This update will incorporate native support for this feature, ensuring smoother navigation within pre-installed apps.
Currently, Xiaomi is officially conducting tests on MIUI 15, with the stable MIUI 15 update already in the testing phase for Xiaomi 13, MIX FOLD 3, and several other smartphones.
