The latest official announcement of Honor mobile phones reveals that the new Honor Play 50 Plus, set to release on October 10, will maintain the brand’s consistent cost-effective advantage and bring more surprises to consumers.
Transitioning to the changes in the exterior design of the Honor Play50 Plus, it incorporates some significant alterations. Compared to its predecessor, the Honor Play 40 Plus, the new phone adopts a hole-punch screen, forsaking the waterdrop screen to offer users a broader field of view. The back still features a substantial camera module, adhering to a dual-camera design, with the lens adorned with a metallic surround.
As indicated on the lens, the main camera will have 50 Megapixels, ensuring a superior photography experience for users. Furthermore, the official teaser poster discloses crucial details. The new device has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, while the base model is expected to feature 128GB of storage.
In terms of battery capacity, the Honor Play50 Plus will come equipped with a battery boasting a 6000mAh capacity (typical value) and a rated value of 5900mAh, guaranteeing extended battery life for users.
Additionally, the new phone amplifies the audio experience by delivering double the volume of stereo sound. Following Honor mobile phones’ historical pricing strategy, the Honor Play 40 Plus price range falls between 1,199 yuan and 1,599 yuan (about $166-$222), offering three specifications of 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB, and 8GB+256GB. We anticipate the final selling price for the Honor Play 50 Plus will align with this pricing level.
