OPPO plans to launch the N3, a new foldable smartphone model. This morning, Chinese blogger Digital Chat Station revealed the specifications and the first image of the Oppo Find N3, possibly the next OnePlus foldable smartphone, as OnePlus is part of the BBK Electronics group along with OPPO.
The blogger disclosed that the Find N3 has a 7.82-inch internal OLED screen with a 2268x2440p resolution and a 6.31-inch external OLED screen with a 2484x1116p resolution. Both screens support a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Find N3 runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, Qualcomm’s latest and most powerful chip, offering improved power efficiency and superior 5G connectivity. It also features 16GB of RAM and an impressive 1TB of storage for a smartphone.
In terms of cameras, the Find N3 sports a 32-megapixel front camera and a 20-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. On the rear, it houses a triple camera setup with 48-megapixel + 48-megapixel + 64-megapixel lenses, capable of capturing high-quality photos and videos in various lighting conditions. Additionally, the device includes a 4805mAh battery with 100W fast charging, allowing for rapid recharging.
The Find N3 boasts a stylish and modern design, featuring a flat metallic body with symmetrical placement of components such as speakers and microphones. The ratio between its internal and external screens has significantly changed compared to the previous generation, resulting in a more square appearance.
The Find N3 is expected to launch in mid-October, and OPPO will likely begin teasing it soon. This foldable smartphone aims to compete directly with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, the current leader in the foldable device market.
