Huawei will officially launch the Smart Glasses 2 today at 10:08 am, pricing them from 1,699 yuan (about $232). They offer various styles, including square half-frame/aviator, gold wire optical lens, and titanium optical lens.
It’s important to note that Huawei has introduced new designs for the Smart Glasses 2, namely the titanium hollow and gold wire models. The former utilizes a 4.7g ultra-light titanium frame with a streamlined floating design, while the latter features a polygonal irregular frame design with 18K gold plating, giving it an exquisite and elegant appearance.
Furthermore, Huawei has made significant improvements to the wearing comfort of the Smart Glasses 2. The widest part of the temples measures only 9.7mm, which represents a 20% reduction compared to the previous generation. This reduction in size makes them lighter and more comfortable to wear.
Furthermore, we’ve integrated the first co-directional dual-diaphragm Pengpai unit into the glasses industry. This integration has led to a 30% increase in media playback loudness. We’ve also enhanced the sound leakage prevention capability by 60% through improvements to the second-generation inverse sound field acoustic system. The glasses now support triple-call noise reduction optimization.
In simple terms, Huawei Smart Glasses2 eliminates the need for wearing wireless headphones. They allow users to listen to music and make phone calls seamlessly.
Regarding the user experience, Huawei Smart Glasses 2 offers support for smart broadcasting functions. Users can now receive weather updates, flight information, schedules, taxi availability, and other notifications promptly without the need to frequently access their phones. With HarmonyOS4 support, these glasses facilitate smooth connections with multiple devices, including mobile phones, tablets, and PCs. Furthermore, they can simultaneously connect to two devices.
A particularly practical feature of Huawei Smart Glasses 2 is the built-in posture sensor. It continuously monitors the wearer’s neck posture in real-time. If the wearer lowers their head for an extended period, a voice reminder will be issued to promote cervical spine protection. This feature is especially beneficial for individuals who spend extended periods working in front of computers.
In terms of battery life, the Smart Glasses 2 supports up to 11 hours of music playback or 9 hours of phone calls, representing a 100% increase compared to the previous generation. They can also be fully charged in just 50 minutes.
