On September 25, JD.com officially launched the Dangbei X5 Ultra super full-color laser 4K projector, priced at 9,288 yuan (about $1,270). This projector employs ALPD 5.0 super full-color laser technology, offering support for three light sources, including full-color LED, mixed light source, and pure three-color laser.
It also has 4K projection capability, encompassing 110% of the BT.2020 color gamut and 152% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. With a brightness rating of 2500 CVIA lumens, it supports 1.07 billion colors, HDR10+, and maintains color accuracy with ΔE<1.
The Dangbei X5 Ultra is powered by the MT9679 flagship chip, which enables faster DDR4 concurrent transmission and supports a USB 3.0 interface. Additionally, it has upgraded the second-generation APU to deliver enhanced performance. On the audio front, this projector features 6GB+128GB storage and supports various functions, including MEMC global motion compensation, global autofocus, omnidirectional keystone correction, automatic screen entry, and intelligent obstacle avoidance.
The projector has a 2mm thick alloy construction, a 2.5D rounded curvature glass top cover, and a floating panel made using the IML process. It features a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, two HDMI ports, a LAN network cable port, a DC power port, and an S/PDIF port.
