In recent years, the continuous improvement of monitor refresh rates has enabled us to purchase e-sports monitors with refresh rates as high as 360Hz. However, is the 360Hz refresh rate the ultimate limit? At this year’s CES show, ASUS took the stage to launch the ROG Swift Pro PG248QP gaming monitor, setting a new record for monitor refresh rates by reaching up to 540Hz.

This monitor utilizes a 24.1-inch Esports TN (E-TN) panel with a resolution of 1920×1080. Achieving a remarkable screen refresh rate of 540Hz through overclocking, it boasts support for NVIDIA G-Sync and Reflex Analyzer. Additionally, it seamlessly incorporates the ESS codec, reducing audio delay and enhancing surround sound effects while providing pinpoint accuracy in identifying in-game gunshots and moving sounds.

Upon folding, the compact base minimizes desktop space usage, offering gamers a wider operational area. It has opened pre-orders on Chinese e-commerce platforms and is priced at 6,999 yuan (about $957).
